Heather “The Heat” Hardy is an American professional boxer born on January 25, 1982, in Brooklyn, New York. She began boxing in her late 20s and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the most recognizable figures in women’s boxing. Hardy made history as the first female boxer to headline a professional boxing card in Brooklyn and went on to capture the WBO Female Featherweight World Title. Promoted primarily by DiBella Entertainment, she became a key figure in elevating women’s boxing in the United States, especially during a time when opportunities for female fighters were limited. In addition to boxing, Hardy also competed in mixed martial arts under Bellator MMA. Known for her toughness, work ethic, and fan-friendly fighting style, she continues to be an influential veteran in the sport and an advocate for women in boxing.
