Mayela Perez, known as “La Cobrita,” is a long-time Mexican professional boxer who has competed across multiple lower-weight divisions. She turned pro in 2003 and has faced high-level opponents such as Kim Clavel and Lourdes Juarez, often taking on tough fights internationally. Despite having more losses than wins, she is respected as a durable, experienced opponent and a key figure in Mexico’s women’s boxing scene.
