Bio
García began boxing at age 16 in Houston after moving to the U.S. as a child; his father turned their home garage into a training space, and he won multiple Golden Gloves championships before turning pro. He debuted professionally on January 26, 2001 and quickly established himself as a tough, aggressive fighter known for his power. García has fought on national and international boxing cards and won various regional titles such as the Texas State Light Middleweight Title, Texas State Welterweight Title, and WBC Silver Middleweight Title during his career. One of his most notable fights was against former world champion Antonio Margarito in May 2010, contesting for the vacant WBC International light middleweight title. Margarito won a unanimous decision but the fight was a high‑profile matchup.
